A till built for
the way a bar sells.
- Counter service or table service, set per venue. A category rail, sub-category chips and search, arranged the way the bar actually sells.
- The measure popup — half or pint, single or double, 175ml, 250ml or bottle. Each measure carries its own price and its own pour size, so gross profit is calculated per pour rather than per product.
- Line notes, void line, running subtotal, service charge and total, and a note that prints on both the bill and the kitchen ticket.
- Payments, tips and splits — tip presets and custom tips, split evenly between any number of people, or uneven per-guest splits with per-share amounts and a “paid” badge as each settles.
- Bar tabs saved against a named tab, with open count, outstanding and taken-today on the tab list. Tables with a floor plan, seat covers, a food-ready pill and pay-per-table.
- Receipts — print, reprint, preview, or email to the customer. Daily takings sync back automatically, so the takings record fills itself.
- A lock screen with PIN and idle auto-lock. The next order is attributed to whoever unlocked it, so every sale has a name against it.
- Recent sales with reprint, and cancel-and-refund behind a required reason, manager only. Refunds have a paper trail.
- No-sale drawer opens are logged, counted and reported, and staff drinks are banked against a person to be redeemed later — so the classic shrinkage vector becomes a number on a report rather than an argument.
- Back office — categories, sub-categories and products with multiple measures each carrying price, pour size and cost; VAT rate; kitchen station routing; tables and zones; devices paired and revoked; and a till preview where you drag to reorder and right-click to change a price or take a product off sale, saving instantly with an undo.
WHY IT MATTERS
What separates a hospitality till
from a retail one.
Two things, and only two. The first is the measure popup. A pint and a half share a product; a single and a double share a spirit; a 175 and a 250 share a wine bottle. If those are not the same product at different prices, gross profit and stock depletion are theatre.
The second is the model of trust. Every sale carries the name of the person who took it, because the next order is not served until someone re-enters their PIN. That is what turns drawer opens, refunds and staff drinks from arguments into numbers on a report.
There is no per-terminal fee, no processor lock-in and no point-of-sale bolt-on. We do not earn a rebate from a card processor, so we have no reason to bundle one — your card rate stays yours to negotiate.
