Clock in
Clock in by GPS, a QR code, or an NFC tag. A forgotten clock-out does not become a 30-hour shift.
Staff clock in on the app at the start of a shift and clock out at the end. The hours are what the payroll report uses, not a remembered finish time.
Three ways to clock in
A venue can use any combination of:
- GPS, inside a geofence around the building
- QR code, scanned at the venue
- NFC tag, tapped at the door or behind the bar
Clocking in is tied to the person, so the shift on the rota and the hours worked can be compared.
Overnight and forgotten clock-outs
A shift that runs past midnight stays one shift. If someone forgets to clock out, an automatic close stops that shift becoming a 30-hour day.
Hours that do not match the rota are queued for a manager, with a one-tap way to accept or correct them. Corrections stay in the record.
