Add a manager
Add someone who can run the venue, and keep pay details to the people who should see them.
The people who work for you each have a record. A manager can run the rota, the till settings and the pay reports. A member of staff sees their own shifts, clock-in and messages.
Add the person
Add them to the team with their name and the venue they work at. Someone who works at more than one venue can have a rate at each. Their shifts still cannot overlap.
Set what they are allowed to do. Giving someone manager access is what lets them publish a rota, refund a sale, and open pay reports. Leave that off for someone who only needs to clock in and read the rota.
Pay details
Hourly rate, National Insurance, tax code and bank details live on the record. They are restricted in the database, not only hidden on screen. A change to bank details alerts managers.
A rate change is dated. Shifts before the change keep the old rate, which is what the payroll report uses.
Staff added here are the people you put on next week’s rota.
