Connect card payments
Connect Stripe so deposits and ticket money go to your own account.
Online card payments use Stripe Connect. The money goes to your own Stripe account. Hospitality App takes no commission on deposits or tickets. Stripe’s own fees still apply.
What it is for
Connect payments before you:
- take a deposit or full payment on a function room
- take a deposit or full payment on a room stay
- sell a paid ticket
A room deposit and a function-room deposit are included on every plan. A table-reservation deposit uses the same connection. It is included in Complete Plus. The guest gets a deposit-paid email, and taking that deposit off the bill shows as deposits on the Z.
What it is not for
The till does not take the card. Your card machine does. There is no processor lock-in and no per-terminal fee. Connecting Stripe does not change that.
Open Settings and connect the Stripe account for the venue. Until that is done, a space, a stay or an event can still be set up, but a guest cannot pay a deposit by card.
