Tickets
Create your first event
Name, date, tickets, questions and the door. Check the public page before you publish.
An event is a quiz, a dinner, a tasting or any night you sell places for. Tickets are sold from Hospitality App, and the sales sit in the same reports as the till.
Start the event
Open Events and choose New event. The steps are Details, Tickets, Questions, Doors, then a review.

On Details, set the name, the date and a short description. A night can run on past midnight without becoming a second event.
Tickets, questions, doors
- Add at least one ticket type, with a price and a limit. Free tickets are allowed. See Ticket types and limits.
- Add a checkout question if you need dietary notes or a team name. See Checkout questions.
- Set when the doors open. Staff scan tickets from a phone. See Scan tickets at the door.
The review step shows the public page before you publish. You can also set the wording of the email the guest receives.
The money
Paid tickets go to your own Stripe account, including a booking fee you set for the venue and the VAT on that fee. Hospitality App takes no commission. Stripe’s own fees still apply. Connect card payments first.
Events and tickets are included on every plan. No ticket fee from us.
Food or drink included in the ticket can be rung on the till at £0, so the kitchen and the bar still see the order.
