One screen for the day. Check guests in and out, post to the bill, and see who is staying over.
Open Rooms and choose Today. It is one screen for this day’s arrivals, departures and guests who are staying over.
On the day
- Early arrivals are flagged, so the room can be ready before the guest is due.
- The balance is shown before check-out, including anything still owed on the stay.
- Check-in records the UK guest register, the fields in the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972.
- Check guests in and out from this screen, and post a charge to the bill.
Two stays still cannot share a room on the same night. That is enforced on the diary. A card deposit, or payment in full, is taken when you book the stay, not on this screen. Anything left is settled at check-out. See The room bill.
